Courses are organised by Ian and Jane Winton, who each have over 25 years experience in art and design.

Throughout the year Jane will be taking a variety of textile and fabric-based courses. We also plan to run courses we've offered in previous years on an 'on-demand' basis, with subjects such as beach find jewellery, Trompe l'oeil and painting. As always, each of those will be taken by a well respected artist or designer-maker. Class sizes are kept to a maximum of about 8-10 people to ensure the individual attention of the tutor and the benefit of working with your fellow students in a friendly and stimulating group.

Whether you are a beginner or have some previous experience, our courses are designed to introduce you to a new and absorbing pastime or to take your existing skills and knowledge forward.

On all courses we provide morning coffee and biscuits (or tea or fruit juice), a light lunch and afternoon tea and cake (made, whenever possible, using locally sourced products and ingredients and always our own eggs). Drinks are available all day and please let us know in advance if you have any special dietry requirements.
